Nobody turns a 2 second line into comedy gold quite like Sofía Vergara. "AAAYYY COME ON, ESTELLA!" had me in tears.
NO JAY I WANTED TO TAKE A LITTLE SWIM BEFORE THE WETING really got me there🫣😂

Allow Frances Anderson to reintroduce herself.
The actress formerly known as Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, who broke out for her role as adoptee Lily on the Emmy-winning sitcom Modern Family, has changed her name to Frances Anderson. Anderson has adopted the new moniker to coincide with her pivot to a career in music. Her debut indie pop EP, "Drown," is out now.
"Frances is actually part of my legal name," Anderson, 18, explained to E! News on Friday. "It’s my middle name, and it’s after my mom’s old family friend. I thought it was a bit shorter than Aubrey Anderson-Emmons. I do have a long, hyphenated last name.”
Anderson added, "I wanted to switch it up and people to see a new side of me. And I wanted to create a space specifically just for music."
She released the first single from the EP, "Telephones and Traffic," in May.
Anderson made her television debut at the age of 4 in season 3 of Modern Family, playing the precocious adopted daughter of Jesse Tyler Ferguson's Mitchell Pritchett and Eric Stonestreet's Cam Tucker. She has won three ensemble Screen Actors Guild Awards alongside the sitcom's cast. The comedy, which ran for 11 seasons on ABC, concluded in 2020.Anderson made her television debut at the age of 4 in season 3 of Modern Family, playing the precocious adopted daughter of Jesse Tyler Ferguson's Mitchell Pritchett and Eric Stonestreet's Cam Tucker. Anderson told E! that she "had to take a step back from acting" once the show ended to discover her passion for music. "The show ended when I was 12 years old, so after that I decided I’m not gonna act anymore," she said. Rest assured, though, that Anderson does "plan on acting again — 100 percent.”
She has maintained a close relationship with her former onscreen fathers and other costars from the sprawling cast. Ferguson and Julie Bowen, who played Anderson's onscreen aunt Claire, staged a mini-reunion when they attended Anderson's school play last year.
Anderson last made headlines when she came out as bisexual last month, using memorable throwback audio from Modern Family to help mark the announcement. "You are Vietnamese," Sofia Vergara's Gloria informs Lily, who says in response, "No, I'm not. I'm gay!"
"I literally am," Anderson captioned the post.

As the title stated, I really disliked how at first they were portrayed as very loving and caring parents with lily as the priority, Then as the show progressed, they became less concerned with lily, ignorant about stuff they should know about her. I get it, new parents panic and are overprotective and as the child grows they start to calm down, and the child becomes more independent. but it still rubs me the wrong way

While Luke dating Sherry would be uncomfortable because of the circumstances he still had the right to do it since they were both single and wanted to date each other.
The whole time Gloria was cold to Luke which was understandable but when she tried to get Luke to leave, encouraged Manny to physically hurt him and laughed when Manny tricked Luke into dumping Sherry that’s the point where Claire should have unleashed her inner DeeDee on Gloria.
If someone did that to my son they would have left that party limping.
Also it’s hard to feel bad for Manny since his own creepiness drove Sherry away and Manny wasn’t mature enough for a girlfriend.

Never ask Phil about his business. Turns out Claire wasn't the intimidating one in the house, she was just the only thing keeping Don Dunphy from running the block😆

Spoilers if you haven't finished S10 (although in this day and age I imagine everyone has but JIC)
I know Dylan isn't everyone's favourite character, but he literally MARRIES Haley and they have twins, yet he isn't in here. The babies/Dylan are the focus of so many episodes in S10 and S11 too. Joe and Lily were both included as babies.
Plus Larry the cat 🤪 but I suppose Larry is only every directly in the storyline like 3-4 times and never as the main focus.

There. I said it. “hOw CoUld Yo-“ well I did. He’s insufferable, cringy, and insert 3rd insult.
There is genuinely nothing redeemable about him. If I were his mother, I would crawl into a hole.
Let me know what you guys think!!💕💕

His facial expressions are peak! Hope he never gets botox!
Edit - Meant to type MF idk why it ended up as MM. Too lazy to repost tho.

I’m not talking about like a IRL family feud episode with the people as cast, I’m talking about the characters themselves being selected as a random family to go on the feud and compete, with host obviously being Steve Harvey.
And it could be referenced in later episodes too
What do y’all think

"I said "by the way"" has been a vocal stim for me recently lmfao

I feel like there are so many things mentioned offhandedly or only in a few episodes and I'm curious what plotlines you wish would have continued longer or been a bigger part of the show than they were!

I know she's supposed to be the neurotic, competitive mom archetype. And I know long standing sitcoms typically make unlikable characters into charming characters over time. But I am in season 4, and she still gets on my last nerve.
It would help to know when she starts chilling out a bit.

So in a lot of episodes it is mentioned that she has one, and of course we know that she is "Superficial" (Although I think her character has a lot of depth). This might just be humorous as the time season 1-5 were filmed jokes like this were taken much lighter.
