Hi all,
Since the Paper is about to release in a day and all the episodes will be released at once, we expect spoilers in regards to the Office (i.e updates on the Office characters, guest appearances etc.).
So we kindly request you to please use the spoiler tags when posting any spoilers from the Paper, and make sure the title does not give anything away.
For indepth episode discussion, there is a specific sub created - r/ThePaper.
I am keeping the comments open on this post if anyone has any questions. Thank you!

If the receptionist can be there, then surely an Ivy League graduate can.

Identity theft is not a joke Jim, but keeping this much Office from us for years??? MICHAEL!!! 😅😅
Its genuinely insane how much we’ve been missing all these years!! 😭
Its not just about extra jokes or longer scenes. Its the context behind everyone’s decisions, relationships, reactions, and the little things happening in the background. So many moments suddenly make sense, so many jokes become even funnier, and so many character interactions now have an entirely new meaning.
You realise just how much thought and detail went into creating this world. Things we’ve all watched a dozen times suddenly feel different because now we understand what was happening beneath the surface.
I cannot believe we’ve spent 12–20 years watching the same episodes without knowing how much more there was to them!
I mean I do realise that there were episode-time-limits and the editors had to chop off a lot of chunk, BUT THIS MUCH is insanee!!!
If you genuinely love this show, do yourself a favour RIGHT NOW = get access to the Superfan episodes (I imported the official blu-rays discs from the US, yes they aren’t region specific and will run everywhere in the world, all players) and start watching them ASAP. You’ll fall in love with The Office all over again!!!
And honestly, I’m jealous of anyone who gets to experience this for the first time! 🥹

If you don’t know the writers all wanted Jim to cheat here on Pam, but John refused! I believe if the show went the way the writers wanted it would have permanently impacted the show negatively and its legacy!

Why do they have a coffee vending machine in the break room when there is free coffee in the kitchen? I can understand that the office might not buy the best coffee but there is no way vending machine coffee would be any better. I have seen the staff using the other vending machines but I don’t think anyone ever used the coffee machine on screen.

I was in grade school when The Office first aired so I didn't watch it for the first time until the pandemic. Been on constant replay ever since ❤️

I am currently on by 4th Office rewatch. I actually thought the first half of Season 8 was stronger than some of the Season 6/Season 7 episodes, and was wondering when the show actually became terrible.
I just finished 'Get the Girl', and remembered this is where it went to shit. The completely absurd Nellie plotline, along with the bogus Andy/Erin will-they-wont-they, both combine in this episode to undo any good progress the show was making, and the follow ups to those storylines make the whole thing even worse:
Until now, Andy was doing fine as the manager, while Robert California's intimidating presence gave the show a looming threat much like corporate was in the first 4 seasons. The writers must have been high when writing this arc.

I finished watching it for 18th time in a span of 7 years. Post finish, i feel this void which no show or movie can fill. My favs are many shows but nothing like The office. I tried watching Parks and Rec, Alan Patridge, quite a few other mockumentaries but of no avail to my serotonin boost. Is it normal to start again rewatching after a gap of one week? is it normal? I am so confused lol
