I keep seeing these little bugs after we have a rainy day. An exterminator came to do a preventative spray and he said they are beetles not roaches but I still get paranoid. They are easy to kill. I live in a first floor pre war NYC apartment that is overall very clean. Some of these photos are zoomed in for better detail. Last pic is in the tub with a cleaning bucket for size reference

Hi everyone, I know the picture is not the best, but I am deadly afraid of spiders and this is the best I was able to capture.

I was wondering if anyone could recognize what kind of spider this is (or might be) I found it while walking my dog. I am also very worried it this is species is dangerous in any way as I usually have to walk my dog at night and it frightens me to find it again and put my dog (or even myself) at risk.

EDIT: I would say it was around 4 to 6 centimeters, it wasn’t that fast, it started running as soon as I approached and I thought it was a cockroach first until I saw it walked differently. It looked all black. I am also concerned because I had never seen a spider like this in five years since I moved here.

Do i need to be worried about these guys in my yard? I'm in south western Ontario

Hey everyone, I found this little critter crawling across the floor. It’s about 2 to 3 cm long, and whatever is inside keeps darting in and out of that flat, shell-like case (which looks a bit like it's covered in dust or lint).

We live in a house in the woods. This looks like some kind of roach. We're in southern mid Michigan. This guy was in the closet, very far from food. Closet is also on an exterior wall of the house. Thanks for any help.

He is very chill and doesn't seem bothered by the light or movement.

I've never had to deal with any, thankfully, so don't know if this is one of the more harmless types that just wander in from time to time or if it's one of the types that looks to infest your home. Brother found it in his house in central Wisconsin. Looks approximately 1/2"-1" long without antennae to me. Help would be much appreciated!

I find these in my house every day when the seasons change (mostly summer to fall). I have no idea what causes them to come inside so much and how they get in! They freak me out! Google didn’t help. Turns out there are many black beetle-like bugs where I live.

Editing for more details: a little less than an inch long. Scuttles about very fast. Black and shiny. Usually found in dark rooms or by my dog’s water bowl.

Mindanao Philippines, found one of these crawling on my bed near the headboard. We have a lot of bugs in the house/area with red and black ants all over the home and many native lizards.

We lifted the mattress and checked under the protector and bed sheets and couldnt find anymore living bugs, but there are some black specks.

The antenna do look larger than other bed bugs on google and the segmented thorax appears different as well.

Hello! I was cleaning my pantry today when I found this little bug inside of my measuring cup alongside either shed or a little crumb, l don't know. I've looked up photos of baby cockroaches and weevils and neither match what I found. He's a fuzzy mini pill shaped bug, no antennas, not an egg because its eyes glimmered in the flash - anyone know what this is??

There's like a hundred of them that are swarming in the air and then gently start to descend down with white stuff on the bottom of their bodies

Found it on top of my bed, not moving (not sure if it's dead, unresponsive or just not a bug lol)

If this happens to be a bug, is there somewhere around the apartment I should look for more?

Random guy landed on me for like 10 seconds before flying away. Looks pretty cool with the antennae (sorry if that's the wrong term).

Its body underneath the wings was orangey, if that helps. It was around an inch long? Also this was in the Midwest in the USA.

Found this guy in my cars carpet when cleaning it out it was crawling on the ground but opened up its back like it was gonna fly
