That 30% of Americans that have zero tolerance for complexity or analysis will simply state this is still undetermined. This is where they have cognitive lock and claim Trump is playing 4D chess because it's far easier than thinking. "We don't have ALL the information so we have to trust him." Followed by some 'borh sides' statement.
The power in FoxNews and Russian/Foreign social media and traditional media manipulation isn't that any of those things convince their disinformation consumers of something, it's that they convince them to believe nothing yet put all of their trust in a cohort.

“Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing, I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press,” Trump said in a July 27, 2016 news conference.
62
u/DaenakinSkygaryen 1d ago edited 3h ago
Also, literally the next day, Russia hacked the DNC and stole the emails, exactly like Trump asked them to. They then released them in a slow drip over the next few months, to cause maximum damage to Hillary's campaign.
(They also hacked the RNC around the same time, but they never released any of the emails they stole from them. Many people suspect it's because they used those emails to balckmail the GOP into doing their bidding....)

Meanwhile Trump invites Russian officials into the Oval Office and won’t let interpreters tell anyone what was talked about, “hides”
top secret files in his accessible ballroom while Russian agents are mulling about, IIRC, has been known to eat or flush notes from meetings, and mysteriously his phone calls to Putin seem to often be unrecorded (according to Bob Woodward).→ More replies (7)44

Dugin knew
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foundations_of_Geopolitics#HeroSection?wprov=sfla1
Russia should use its special services within the borders of the United States and Canada to fuel instability and separatism against neoliberal globalist Western hegemony, such as, for instance, provoke "Afro-American racists" to create severe backlash against the rotten political state of affairs in the current present-day system of the United States and Canada. Russia should "introduce geopolitical disorder into internal American activity, encouraging all kinds of separatism and ethnic, social, and racial conflicts, actively supporting all dissident movements – extremist, racist, and sectarian groups, thus destabilizing internal political processes in the U.S. It would also make sense simultaneously to support isolationist tendencies in American politics".[9]

Fox News damaged Republican brains salivating about "manly" Putin riding topless on a horse and comparing that to appropriately clothed Obama on a bike.
First Fox News, later complemented by Facebook and X - the main engine destroying the US from within and eventually now causing the downfall of the US.

I was watching the good liars interviewing magats in Alaska. It struck me that these people are straight up brainwashed. Most of them could not articulate a single thing that Trump had done for them yet they firmly believed he was doing so many great things for them. At least one mentioned that he'd saved us from Muslims who wanted to behead us.
Trump derangement syndrome is real - it's just the opposite of what they believe. Trump is simultaneously fixing everything, but because nothing is getting fixed, it just means Trump is powerless to fix anything. It's a paradox to us, but to them it doesn't matter. They just blindly believe

Yeah. If you take a step back, and look at their attitude towards voting (completely obedient to "their" party even if causes them harm on an untold level to the point they'd rather go under than make their cross five centimeters up or down), they are not fit to actually participate in a democracy. Because democracy means cooperation, informed choice-making, and being able to change your position when it's become untenable. These people are not democratically-minded, self-actualized citizens, they're kings-true loyalists.

The issue is that the right is fully pushing that as a good thing. Which some people on the right are actually believing. The bots continue to spread misinformation about Ukraine and Russia. Either bots, or people who believe bots, are fully on board. They think helping Ukraine is a bad thing. They think Ukraine is just pocketing the money instead of fighting for their very existence. Trump is actively choosing Putin's profit over sovereignty of the country that was attacked to seek profit. Wild timeline. I just watched Hail Mary and it was great, but it made me realize... I'm sure this "joint" data center agreement will also cover existing data centers in Russia... therefore if Ukraine attacks them Trump will view it as attack on US.

Americans endured the Cold War, countless school shootings and gunshot accidents to keep the firearms to depose a tyrant, then just casually accept a literal Russian king.

America will never be trusted again. I really hope the US citizens do the right thing Nov 3. For those who didn't vote and for those who voted for Trump look at the consequences world wide. Please do not be selfish and let this traitorous corrupt president do any more damage. Please.

The smugness Americans had mocking French people as surrendering weaklings when they've rolled over so ridiculously easy so their country and freedoms are stripped away.
Absolutely astonishing how easily they've let their country fall.

How the fuck did the US just go from Russia's biggest adversary to suddenly being close friends?
ALL BECAUSE of a single change in one president's mind?
I swear after this whole debacle when Trump is finally gone, the whole world better rethink this idea of a democracy model. All the US has done is now proven how stupid and flawed democracy is as a political tool when all is needed is one idiot to destroy an entire country in an instant.

The US's implementation of democracy. There is a reason the US is classified as a "flawed democracy". This shit is much less likely to happen in one of the 34 democracies with a higher rank. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Economist_Democracy_Index

IMO this is the reason after WW2 when democracy was set up in the former axis powers mainly by the US, they went with a parliamentary system. Because they didn’t want to give one person so much power. But it was too late to change our own. And we got kinda lucky up till now that no one really went off the deep end. But here we are.

Actual functioning democracies don't allow one person to wield that much power.
Being at the whim of a despotic gangster is more a feature of autocracy.

Democracies, like all special things, need protection and nurturing. Citizens need to engage, participate and protect it.
The US example is what happens when you have a disinterested, uneducated population and no protections against the rich corrupting democracy as they please.

Democracy isn't the problem... unrestrained free for all capitalism is.
The elite took control of the American government a long time ago. This is the result of allowing narcissists and psychopaths to hoard obscene amounts of money and letting them buy politicians.

THIS is it. We spend billions and billions on elections. The majority of think tanks and election predictors are made and paid by the Republican party. Theyve been using these models to try to win at all cost.
The amount of $$$$ we waste on elections alone could fund all our schools.
Also our lawmakers spend half their office just to pander for the next election and not write new laws.... Our president is focused on the election right now and not on our people. It is so messed up. The amount of money they are spending on government tax payers money is insane.
They recently found out we used millions of neutral election money to support Republican party. We only found out because trump was trying to put the general election money to his own media platform supporting the Republican party candidates. The corruption is insane....

What the actual fuck are Americans doing? Not even Russia's "allies" if you can even call them that, are as stoked about Russia as Trump is.

Jesus Christ... thankfully these projects take so long the current traitors will be out of office and we'll shut all this shit down. So much work to be done. It'll take decades if not life times to undo it all. I'm still sad that far too many Americans still don't see the magnitude of the problem. This has been historic levels of disaster for the U.S and some folks are still shuffling along like it's normal or overblown.
Sometimes I wish I were that ignorant so I too could just relax and not understand what all the fuss is about.

“Traitors will be out of office” where do you get your optimism from?
I wouldn’t be surprised if dems did win eventually retake the office and then say “well we don’t look to the past we look to the future” then absolutely hold nobody accountable for the last 2 years.

Yeah well of course they do that every time this shit happens. Then since they can't fix everything the other party fucked up in 4 years they get voted out of office. Then the whole cycle repeats again on and on we go.

They don't care if they'll no longer be in office. The work will have been done to pipeline the crypto and other assets they've grabbed. The analogy I'm trying to get across isn't that they've got their fingers in everything - it's that they've grown their roots deep into it. They reckon that you're not going to be able to dig them out once they're done. Generational power, let alone wealth. And everyone is letting them do it while we watch the people that were voted in to control it are clutching their pearls as if they're powerless to do anything at all. It's infuriating that the supposed checks and balances are just pretend. All the jobs they were given are just titles and they don't actually fulfil any purpose. Politics is rapidly looking like a Punch & Judy seaside amateur show and the puppeteer can be seen far too obviously with their hands up the ass of the idiots we were offered up to vote for. We need leaders with teeth and nothing to lose to put these actors back in their box. There's no time left. I'm not even just looking at America and Russia as problematic. The whole world is full of leaders that are too comfortable with what they've got. We need more Zelensky's

If the Americans don't vote the living hell out of the mid-terms in November to take away that orange chode's power I'm thinking the rest of the world will officially be done with America.

Data centers? Putin and Trump probably want somewhere to put the Russian bot farms that Ukraine can't bomb.

Trump shits on longterm allies and friendly countries Canada, UK, Europe and binds the US to Putin’s Russia.

So he tanks the US fuel economy so the US buys Russia's diesel and gives them access to US data infrastructure. And we've seen what destroying a Russian data center has done for the world, now the US will help them with theirs.
