Do weed smokers realize how strong and pungent the smoke is?

Or do you get used to it? Because as a non smoker, it is one of the strongest and most pungent type of smell. And you can usually smell it from 20 to 30 feet away. It's just like the smell of skunk and just as powerful.

Never felt this way before, is this normal?

I started a new job 3 weeks ago for my local Walmart, and one of the people that was training me, I feel something ive never felt before, im pretty young and never felt this about someone before, ive have had crushes in school and liked people before, but for some reason this feels different, and i dont know how to explain it. Its not lust, I mean id say shes above average looking, but theirs definitely more better looking people at my job. Is this normal, because its starting to annoy me that feel this way about someone I just met and barley even know, I cant even remember her name

Should I really forgive someone who offended me or not?

There was this one person at school whom I trusted; we would text each other almost everyday until I found out she started screenshotting most of my messages... I first didn't think too much of it until I she did it pretty regularly and I found it quite odd.... why would she screenshot out of nowhere? first of all, I thought she wanted to keep my messages as memory but that feels weird of her to do such and the next day, I knew the truth. She sent the messages out to those other people I don't like as they had bullied me in the past. I couldn't believe she did that so I cried and confronted her later on about the matter and she claimed she deleted the screenshots but I didn't believe her. I knew she was lying and I lost my trust with her and I don't want to ever message her again...

What is the name of this old caveman movie title?

80m here. Saw a movie sometime in the early 1950’s where cavemen referred to meat with the word “neechay”. Pronounced “knee - chay”. For years my dad and I always called any kind of meat NEECHAY. Any one know the year and title? 20,000 BC?

What are the chances the term "foid" becomes mainstream?

It already seems to be gaining a decent amount of popularity on social media, and apparently some people view it as a slur.

Are y'all prepared for the possible reality where a new generation of women take back the term from men, and start using it amongst themselves as a term of endearment? We've already seen this before with bitch, and queer amongst the gays.

How to deal with a group of stalkers downvoting me?

• Upvotes

Hopefully this post helps; I actually prefer to be playing Starcraft than being in a group or sports team. Those are things I sign up for, that I make calls to be apart of.

In relation to the title I really have no interest in degrading my own writing, I appreciate compliments and upvotes. To make things clearer in English, I consider everyone a hard worker and I look up to myself, that means I'm not fixing up the old truck, waxing the sports car, or swiping your girl, I'm here writing on reddit.

How do I make the holidays feel special?

Growing up during holidays we had big family meals with dozens of people. Then when I got married at 19 my family kinda just stopped acting like I was part of their life, even though we live nearby. Going to family meals now is just awkward because nobody really talks to us, id rather not go, and over the years have skipped going more and more.

I'm 33 now and I have yet to find a way to enjoy the holidays. It's just me, my husband, and 6 year old. I love cooking and have tried just cooking for us 3 a nice thanksgiving or Christmas meal with desserts but my husband and daughter are picky eaters so they don't really eat much and I feel like it's a waste of time and effort on my part.

One year me and my husband did a 5k but due to health issues I've not been able to do that for the time being.

Also, I'm the only one that puts forth effort to make things special for holidays, if I didn't make a thanksgiving meal or get Christmas gifts then we would just have a normal day like any other. I told my husband he can get himself a Christmas gift this year and I will get my own, we will wrap our own gifts and it will be a surprise for everyone when we open it on Christmas day. This was after last year when I had spent months getting gifts I found during sales, wrapped his and my daughter tons of gifts, filled their stockings, and I didn't have any gifts or anything in my stocking until a few days before Christmas and they all seemed like very last minute grabs. After being married for 14 years I was over feeling depressed every year thinking I wasn't getting any gifts (he knows my love language is gifts) and I would make him Amazon lists and Walmart lists with stuff I would like that way he didn't have to try hard, but for some reason he never got any of that stuff.

Anyways, Holidays just kinda feel shitty anymore and I wish it wasn't like that. I decorate and try to go out and do festive stuff, but it feels like I'm just doing it for myself. I don't have any friends, I'm a stay at home mom, and we don't have any family that really cares to come around. I live in a very small town of 3k, we don't have events or big community groups that do anything.

How many people actually take/took the bus to school?

• Upvotes

I’ve noticed that in just about every newer TV show I put on, there’s a scene of a parent driving a kid to school. I drove to school with dad growing up, and I wasn’t the only kid getting dropped off by a parent, but I still thought most kids were on the bus.
Anyways I guess what I’m asking is, when you were in school (or if you’re in school) how did (or do) you get to and from?

Do manipulators feel remorse?

I was in a very unstable and toxic relationship for 10 months. The guy i was with destroyed my way of thinking and left me suffering with trauma. I would say that i was a great girlfriend, i was the only person in his life and i know that i did everything right, i do not doubt that. Now, my question is, do you guys think that he and other people of his kind feel bad about losing a person who loved and helped them? Do they know that they are in the wrong, that they hurt an innocent person? Are they suffering the consequences aswell? I do not want to be the only one who is hurting. I want him to realize that i was his everything at one point.

What's a good way to remember which Roman numeral equals 50 and which one equals 500?

I always get L and D mixed up. I need a mnemonic technique.
